when do i get my photos back?

 MY CONTRACTED TURNAROUND FOR SESSIONS IS 3.5 WEEKS. WEDDINGS ARE 8 WEEKS. YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL LINK WITH YOUR FINALIZED GALLERY WHEN IT IS COMPLETED.
 I DO NOT offer sneak peek photos for sessions. it's just not my thing. every gallery gets its turn to be my one sole focus for the time that it takes me to complete that gallery. i'm a very emotional worker. i immerse myself in that work and pour all of my creativity into one project at a time. i don't skip around. in order for me to create my best work, i maintain a creative mindset only for that single gallery. if you ask for sneaks... it is very likely that i simply will not respond. ultimately, this protects me from stress and keeps my mind on track. you wouldn't want me to get off track while working on your full masterpiece to edit a few quick sneaks for someone else.. would you? respect the process!

How do you deliver the photos?

  I use a private online gallery website called Pic-time! It is very user friendly, has a clean and  SLEEK DESIGN, ALLOWS ME TO UPLOAD GIFS INTO GALLERIES, AND LETS CLIENTS DOWNLOAD/SHARE/PRINT ALL IN ONE STOP! THEIR PRINT SHOP IS TOP-NOTCH! I LOVE PIC-TIME! I SEND A LINK TO YOUR GALLERY VIA EMAIL!

grapher's pictures?

 No! I would hope that anyone choosing to book with me has reviewed my style and fallen in love with the way I capture stories and edit photos with a warm, dreamy, artistic feel. If you are looking for another style I have other photographer friends I can recommend.

what if there's bad weather at our session?

 I prefer to shoot when there are blue skies and the sun is shining, BUT I love to embrace the not-so-ideal weather too. A little rain can make a whole lot of magic... if you're willing :). I hateee dull overcast days, and I make the call on weather related reschedules and will almost ALWAYS CHOOSE TO GO WITH ANOTHER DATE THAT WILL BE PRETTY AND MORE LIVELY.

Do you shoot on the weekends?

 My weekends are mostly reserved for Elopements & Weddings or personal time off. 1. work doesn't rule my world 2. i love time off and spent doing what i love. I don't work on Sundays and it's not often that I have an available Saturday. if you are not flexible and very adamant about having a weekend session i'm prob not the photographer for you.

What time of day do you shoot?

 I ~typically~ shoot during Golden Hour! Golden Hour is the hour before the sun sets and after it rises. Taking photos at this time makes for the softest, prettiest, creamiest golden sunshine! but honestly i'm cool with shooting in alll types of different lighting. i love experimenting. if the look you love involves that mid-day bright earth, shady feel photos.. i'm cool! if you love blue hour and flash photos... sounds beautiful! let's have fun with it!

do you pick out the locations?

 this is a fun q! While I do have a few locations up my sleeve, I LOVE going to new places! I help in the picking and choosing but love to leave the decision ultimately up to you!
 MOST of my sessions are at locations that the client either has personal access to or asks friends/family for permission to use.
 think outside the box, but don't overthink it. even the most odd or simple or unique locations make for the most beautiful and special photos!

should we bring props?

 As far as props go, sure! I usually consider "props" to be your horses, classic cars or trucks, leather jackets and motorcycles, a picnic, cool sunglasses and your favorite drinks, your dog... real life stuff. those kind of ~props~ have a way of bringing the story to life. If it's something that will help create the perfect vision that you have for your session and it's something that y'all enjoy together I say YES!

how do we communicate?

 for sessions: I communicate with all of my clients through email/the client portal, Dubsado, accessible via email. I have SO MANY projects going on at the same time that I have to use a system to keep track, manage, & remember-

eVERYTHING. I TRY AND REPLY WITHIN 1-2 BUSINESS DAYS (my work days and hours can sometimes be sporadic. life's an adventure.) AND MY HOURS ARE FROM 8am-7pm.
 for my brides: after you are booked with me we communicate via text. communication about weddings is on-going for months. it's casual and fun- like friend to friend! share pinterest links, send photos, ask q's, all the things!
